New contacts do not appear in Outlook

Problem: New contact folder is created but it doesn't show in "Show Names from the" drop list

In Microsoft Outlook, in Folder list,

Right click on contacts,

Properties,

click on Outlook Address Book -

click on box "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book"
