Problem: How to return Folder list view in Outlook 2003?

It's called Navigation pane, thus easily overlooked in options.

View -

click on "Navigation Pane"

How to postpone e-mail from Outlook?

Problem: Send mail at later time, ie timing for e-mail

New mail - Options button

check "Do not deliver before" and choose date and time

close,
and Send button.
Mail will remain in Outbox until sent.

NOTE: For some reason, E-mail will not be sent if you click on OUTBOX. Mail text will be changed from italic to regular and icon will be changed.

There is no clock

Even though Adobe Professional is removed and reinstalled there is no PDF button in toolbar of Excel 2003.

Laptop Asus V6000 have not display after Windows logo

Problem: There is no picture after Windows splash screen

Safe mode works ok. Deinstalling video driver did not help. On web forums, people mention that it might be problem with power unit.

So, I removed battery from the laptop (shut down Windows and unplug it first! ), and re-inserted it back - and it worked ok afterwards. I also done online spyware-antivirus scan in safe mode before removal.

Device manager do not show installed devices

Problem: Device manager do not display devices, plug and play not functional

Symptoms:

Start - run Services.msc - do not display plug and play, and there is message "Configuration manager: plug and play not available", there is no plug and play reference in registry.

Solution:

export plug and play registry from PC that works ok and import in registry - and restart
