Problem: When there are numbers with decimal point, sum function is not working
Settings should be:
Tools - Options -
International
set as:
Decimal separator .
Thousand separator ,
unckeck Use system separators
and restart excel to take effect!

I solved this a moment ago by changing my commas into fullstops and vice-versa.
How did u solve this problem.. i m facing still this problem after applying the instructions
