Problem: Canon iR1018 driver for windows 7 64bit cannot be installed
Installation was in two parts - one part was instaled by drivers provided by Canon web page.
However, second part - scanner - could not be instaled by any driver at Canon web page.
Solution was - to use drivers for XP, Vista.
Another problem is that Toolbox utility for scanner is not offered at drivers' Canon web page - it can be found via google.

This server's clock is not synchronized with the primary domain
Problem: PC is not accessible via network
Suuport web page says:

that this command will work;
w32tm /resync
User had no right to change time, time on the PC was 30 minutes late.
It helped to log on as administrator and to manually set the correct time.

Xerox 8550 yellow colour
Problem: Yellow colour is tinted on Xerox Phaser 8550
Problem was caused by difference in solid ink -- there is one with bright yellow colour which works ok, and the one which is darker - which was the source of the problem with yellow colour. As shown on pics within their package.
