Excel 2003/2007 crash during closing


Problem: When closing, excel produce an error

Error:
Microsoft Office Excel has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.Recover my work and restart Microsoft Office Excel




Previous workarounds do not work effectively.

Thanks, this solution worked for me. I changed the registry value from 3 to 0 and I no longer get the error when I close Excel, and my Add-Ins work just fine. Thanks again!

Ditto, worked for me. Disabling one of the entries to 0 didn't help, but doing it for another add in solved the problem.
